Welcome to the Youth Section

First Bangor provides youth organizations for all ages of young people.  In this section you will find information about our uniformed and non uniformed youth work.

Youth GroupSunday Club  - Leader: Mercy Emery   Sunday club meets before and during our second service and caters for young people from the age of 3 right up to 17.  Our Sunday Club is a vibrant, fun place where children and young people can meet together and enjoy learning about God together.

Big Breakfast   The Big Breakfast is for those in secondary school.  Breakfast is provided from 10.00am and then they split up into the following groups.  This is a seriously cool place to be on a Sunday morning.  So come along and try it out.For further times and contact details please refer to the organizations section.

Livewirez     Livewirez means taking the life and truth about God and wiring it into young lives.  A name that really sums up what this brilliant group is all about.  It’s a youth club for those in P5 up to P7 where you can make things, play games, play football, eat loads of sweets and generally be really hyper.  If you think you’d be up for it be there on Saturday nights and bring your friends.  Youth Group rafting

Big Tree Collective     Our Non uniformed youth work in the church is known as the Big Tree Collective.  It is named after the big tree in front of First Bangor but is open to interpretation.  Big Tree Collective meets three times over the weekend and is for all of those who are in secondary school.  Our Youth Pastor Aaron Ditty oversees these organizations.

BTC Saturday. 8pm- 10pm    The wildest, maddest, most original youth club in the world.  Every week something different happens.  Has been known to be very loud and messy.  Great place to meet new friends.

Sporting GroupBTC Sunday. 8.30pm-10pm   This is a chance to come together to learn more about God and how brilliant he is with other teens.  We talk about big issues and we talk about little ones that become big.  Praise time is led by the Big Tree band.

BTC Monday.3.30pm-5.30pm    Because Mondays suck so much we thought it would be nice to have something in the church to make them seem a little better.  So after school on a Monday we come down to the church and chill out, listen to some music, play some games and just generally enjoy life.  It’s a good opportunity for us leaders to get to know you young guys too.

Child Protection Policy

We in First Bangor are committed to providing high standards of Child Protection.  All Leaders are approved by the Kirk Session and are then police checked in compliance with the Presbyterian Church’s guidelines.  For More details on Child protection policy contact the church office and we can provide you with details of it.
