Church Organisations
We have organisations to suit every need, ranging from the traditional Boys and Girls Brigade through to Mothers and Toddlers and Model Railway.  For the more active we have the Men's Football Fellowship and Badminton clubs.

Outreach
We are involved in a wide range of outreach activity, some of which is outlined below:

Bare Necessities
This is a food mission for local families who need the basics.  Their need is assessed by our partner charities, FASA, Women's Aid and Simon Community.  To find out more about this mission please contact us.

Church Community and Change
Church, Community & Change is a training programme that enables churches to respond to the needs of their communities in a way that shows God’s love and brings about real, lasting and positive change.  First Bangor is well progressed through this programme and is committed to helping its local community.  Click here to read more about this programme.

Overseas Mission
For the last 10 years, First Bangor has been twinned with a church in Telkibánya, Hungary (click here to see a map).  This relationship has grown steadily in both churches, with young and older people visiting and Holiday Bible Clubs.  Both communities have developed an understanding of each others cultures and it is felt that our family has expanded.

First Bangor is also involved in mission to China, Nepal, Uganda and Malawi.

Events
First Bangor runs a series of fundraising and social events throughout the year, including family weekends and open days at the church.  Wednesday morning sees our weekly coffee morning held in the church.

Bible Study
We have developed several styles of learning more about scripture, ranging from small Home Groups to to traditional worship on Sunday mornings.  Whatever style you prefer we are certain that we can help.  If you would like to hear more please contact us.

Praise
First Bangor has a Chorale, made up of the Choir and Praise Group, and a Praise Band, made up of younger members of the congregation.
